The shaft bearing/bushing is located in the bottom of the rotor well and in the center of the impeller cover. It is rarely replaced and has nothing to do with the speed of the impeller. It dampens any sound vibrations caused by the spinning rotor resulting in quieter and smoother operation. The bearing also stabilizes the rotor shaft. Very limited supply.
Replace only if lost or when showing signs of wear, i.e. enlarged center hole, loss of elasticity, obvious wear and tear. Very limited quantity.
