This is the original shaft for Rena Filstar XP filters produced before 2003 when the system used a ceramic shaft for the rotor. We have a very limited supply of these so we suggest getting a new rotor impeller with the stainless shaft as a long term solution for the proper operation of your filter. You may also want to upgrade your impeller cover to the new version as this time also.
